In select cases, experienced operators join HalBar through our CEO-in-Residence program. These partners work closely with our team to source, evaluate, and acquire a business aligned with their domain expertise. From search through ownership, we collaborate as a unified partnership, combining operating leadership with institutional capital and governance.
HalBar partners with independent sponsors at the point of acquisition, taking a controlling ownership position while working alongside operators who assume operating leadership. These partnerships are built around domain expertise, aligned incentives, and long-term stewardship of the business.
Sponsors must take an active leadership role post-acquisition, typically as CEO or Executive Chair. We back operators who are accountable for strategy, culture, and performance.
